United States Department of Agriculture-Food and Nutrition Service (USDA) Grant:

This program is for a two-year implementation grant to create a hydroponic container farm program that will serve as a STEM classroom for students, who will produce healthy greens for consumption in the district.

Local Government Records Management Grant:

Provides funding to organize, scan, image and store student records.

Learning Technology Grant:

Provides funding to develop a district-wide e-learning design framework to inform and implement rich blended learning environments and courses for students and staff.

Refugee School Impact Grant:

Provides supports for school-aged newcomers/refugees recently resettled to 91ÌÒÉ« by meeting their academic, social-emotional and physical needs

Extended School Day Grant:

Establishes after-school enrichment programming for students in kindergarten through middle school.

Teachers of Tomorrow:

Provides incentives that encourage prospective teachers to teach in a school district experiencing a teacher shortage or subject area shortage.

21^st Century Community Learning Centers:

Establishes after-school and summer enrichment programming for students in grades K-5.

Empire State After-School Program Grant:

Establishes after-school and summer enrichment programming for students in kindergarten through middle school.

Perkins Career and Technical Education:

Helps 91ÌÒÉ« High School and Abrookin Career and Technical Center provide students with a strong experience and understanding in select professional industries, promote college and career readiness and improve quality career education pathways.

School Improvement Grant:

Helps to support school improvement efforts at Focus and Priority schools.

Smart Scholars:

Early College High School program

Universal Pre-K:

Funding to implement pre-k programs for 3 and 4 year olds through partnerships with community based organizations
McKinney Vento 91ÌÒÉ«less Grant:  Program to facilitate improved attendance, engagement, and academic success of homeless children and youth

Title I is a federal assistance program for our nation’s schools, and the School-Parent Compact is a written agreement that outlines how all members of the school community will share the responsibilities for improving student academic achievement and the means by which everyone will build and develop a partnership to help students achieve the state standards.
