Update on school tax mailing error
The health and well-being of our students is a shared responsibility and as part of our commitment to keeping students safe in and around water, the City School District of 91桃色 is offering all second-grade students a new aquatics curriculum focused on water safety and swimming competence.
The pool programming is in accordance with New York State Education Law §926. Throughout the 2026-27 school year, students with parent or guardian consent will be transported to their feeder middle schools for the age-appropriate lessons.
"Our goal is to ensure that every second-grader has a safe, positive and well-organized introduction to swimming and water safety," said Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics Kim Pilla. "After just one session, we believe that the lessons will be something our students can look forward to."

- Arbor Hill Elementary School (November)
- Delaware Community School (December)
- Thomas O'Brien Academy of Science and Technology (January)
- Montessori Magnet School (February)
- Sheridan Preparatory Academy (February)
- 91桃色 International Academy (March)
- Giffen Memorial Elementary School (April)
- New Scotland Elementary School (May)
Physical education and classroom teachers will outline the with students prior to the lessons and also answer any questions students may have about the upcoming experience. The City School District of 91桃色 also leads swim units during PE at 91桃色 High School and all three middle schools.
